Diamond Education And Guidance

There is no need to stress when it comes to selecting the perfect diamond.  There are 4 main factors that we use to formulate the worth and quality of a diamond (grade). These factors are known as the 4 C's : Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat weight.

Diamond Clarity

The vast majority diamonds contain miniscule markings known as inclusions. Even though most inclusions are difficult to see by the naked eye, these inclusions generally prevent light from travelling through the stone. Therefore, fewer inclusions the diamond entails the more beautiful, bright, valuable and rare the stone.

Color Scale

There are numerous different colors of diamonds. Fancy (colored) diamonds are either natural or treated. The color scale of diamonds range from D (colorless) to Z (yellow color).

Diamond cut

The cut of a diamond not only talks of its shape, it also describes the symmetry and finish of the polished stone. There are many shapes of diamonds including Round, Princess, radiant, cushion etc.

Carat Weight

A diamonds weight (size) is measured in carats and points.
There are 100 pionts in a carat.
